Hearts by Webfoot is a simple card game which allows players to compete against three virtual opponents. It is a great way of playing a game without the need for partners. The rules are easy to learn so it is good for kids as well as adults.
Quick to download, this version of Hearts is able to make use of Apple's Family Sharing feature so up to six people can play it with just one purchase. This is great if you want to teach children how to play the game but there is not much more that would single it out from other options. This gameplay runs smoothly and it has a reasonably well-produced soundtrack but the game never really provides a truly satisfying challenge for advanced players to enjoy. Regular trick-winning Hearts rules apply with a standard deck of 52 cards and there are no game variations to keep it interesting.
Hearts by Webfoot does a fair job of replicating the classic card game with artificial intelligence. However, it is nothing special and players can find alternatives at little or no cost with ease. It is for dedicated card game fans only.
