Haunted Halls: Nightmare Dwellers is a hidden object adventure game where your objective is to investigate mysterious paranormal activities in a creepy mansion. The app provides you with many hours of gameplay, gives you access to various types of challenges, and lets you explore many locations for clues.
The house in question and its surrounding are filled with dozens of creepy objects and creatures, like flamingos that get scared from bagpipe sounds. You will need to explore each area, collect useful items from the locations, and complete hidden object mini-games. The app lets you use the built-in map to teleport from one location to another and the journal to keep track of your important notes regarding the case.
The storyline is filled with plenty of plot twists. The house owner who was once known to be a victim, will eventually become a villain. So, nothing is exactly what it seems at the beginning of the game.
Another thing you might like is the fact that you can always change the difficulty level, even while solving a puzzle (Menu -> Options -> Difficulty Mode).
This game is a bit too freaky for my taste. Those tentacles covering various items from the scenes and the yucky objects lying around everywhere are a great source of nightmare ideas. Nevertheless, if you're into this type of hidden object games, you should give it a try.
