Hard Disk Wipe Tool 2.35.1178 is a freeware utility for low-level hard disk drive erasing.
The program supportsS-ATA (SATA), IDE (E-IDE), SCSI, USB and FIREWIRE interfaces. It fully support LBA-48 drives.
Hard Disk Wipe Tool can format Maxtor, Hitachi, Seagate, Samsung, Toshiba, Fujitsu, IBM, Quantum and Western Digital drives.
It´s also capable of low-level erasing FLASH cards using a card-reader.
Data restoration will be impossible after using this utility.
When running the program, it will automatically detect all your hard drives, for you to choose which one you want to low level erase.
Then, you will see a window with three tabs.
The "Device Details" tab will give you all the details about the selected drive, such as the model, firmware revision, serial number, buffer size, physical parameters (LBA modes supported, sectors available, full device capacity), security features and other features.
In the "SMART" tab, you will see all the SMART parameters.
The "WIPE" tab will allow you to low-level format the desired drive.
