Groove Pro is a powerful mixing application created for professional DJs. It is suited for live performances, but the program can also be used by regular users that need to mix various songs. Groove Pro supports most popular audio formats, like MP3, OGG, WMA, WAV; and includes a lot of tools to help you come up with amazing mixes.
This application offers a user interface that displays two audio decks. In it, it gives you access to various tools which allow you to adjust audio parameters like gain, tempo, pitch, volume, etc. Groove Pro also enables you to apply sound effects like flanger, phaser, reverb, and delay.
At the bottom of the main window you can find a song manager. It lets you create a database with audio files and organize them into playlists. Moreover, Groove Pro comes with a set of audio samples which you can include in your mixes. Personally, I’m not a big fan of sounds like glass crash, burp, dog bark, car horn, car brake, but they can come in handy during difficult mixing sessions.
Groove Pro efficiently works with audio controllers from different manufacturers. I think this is a big plus, given the fact that professional DJs work with a great variety of such tools. I liked testing this application, and if you’re into music creation and mixing, you should give it a shot.
