GrizeR is a desktop-based reminder program for scheduling tasks, birthdays, holidays appointments, and various reminders. The main difference between GrizeR and other similar applications on the market is the people-centric functionality, which includes allowing you to manage lists of contacts besides usual reminders or meetings.
The application contains a holiday list permanently updated via the Internet for seven countries: France, United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Russia, and Ukraine, covering both religious and official calendars. GrizeR's interface is well designed and user-friendly. Three main tabs are available as soon as the program is open: Contacts, Reminders, and Nearest Holidays.
The Contact tab manages the people list, which can be manually added, or imported from various applications, including Microsoft Outlook, via .CSV files. The Reminders tab contains all the options for setting up a reminder in easy three steps. First, the user sets the text of the message, followed by occurrence and frequency or the reminders. Then a specific sound can be added to the message and can be repeated for a certain number of times. Last thing to be set is the so-called extra features like launching an application or sending a specific e-mail. The Nearest Holiday tab presents a monthly preview list of the incoming scheduled events.
GrizeR is a useful application for people with a lot of contacts and a busy schedule. It needs to be installed on all the computers used by a person, which might be a little old-fashioned, in the days of the free cloud applications like the Google Calendar for example.
