Gray's Anatomy Premium Edition is a computer version of the popular book. This electronic version consists of over a thousand annotated illustrations. There are two versions of this application. The Student version is free, and it includes 1247 annotated illustrations and related text. There are thumbnails that are scrollable for all those illustrations. The Premium version has some additional features like a search field, zooming capabilities and gesture support, and the illustrations are in high definition.
The Student Edition is perhaps all you need if what you want are the annotated illustrations of Henry Gray's anatomy book. But the extra features in the Premium version are quite handy. This book is considered to be one of the most important books in medicine history. Medicine students and anyone taking anatomy classes will most likely benefit from it. The electronic version has a clear advantage over the physical book. It is not bulky and you can take it wherever your Mac goes. The application download takes a while, but that is expected with so many great-looking illustrations.
Navigating through illustrations is very easy. You can scroll down page after page, or use the thumbnails to find the illustration you are looking for.
The illustrations are of great quality, even though they are not full HD as in the Premium version. They have the names of important parts of the body and show details.
