Gourmania 2: Great Expectations 

Gourmania 2: Great Expectations is a combination between two game genres: hidden object puzzles and time management games. You have to find the hidden ingredients needed to prepare the food asked by your customers in a short amount of time, so they don’t get impatient and leave. It’s pretty much a typical hidden object puzzle game with increased difficulty, being more challenging than the usual hidden object games because of the aforementioned time factor.

As you’ve probably guessed from its title and from the gameplay requirements, Gourmania 2: Great Expectations is a cooking-themed game. Its storyline is pretty interesting as it revolves around the main character’s quest to restore a restaurant and make it an attractive choice for any potential clients.

The visuals and the soundtrack are neither impressing nor disappointing. The only thing that makes this game stand out from the crowd of many other hidden object puzzles is the increased level of difficulty when playing in “Timed” mode. Other than that, there’s not much originality or uniqueness. Anyway, I’d say it’s still worth a try, especially for the fans of the hidden object puzzle game genre.
