This utility comes as an alternative to using your default browser to check your Instagram account. You can work with this application to comment on or like photos posted by other Instagram users, edit your profile information, search the pages of your friends, and much more.
After you launch Go for Instagram on your Mac, a new icon will be added to your Menu Bar. By clicking on it, you will reveal the main window of the application where you can enter your Instagram account credentials and check the latest posts. Unfortunately, like many other Instagram clients for Mac, this application lacks the support for uploading photos on your account due to the limitations of the official Instagram API.
The interface is nicely designed and intuitive. You can use the built-in search tool to quickly find the profiles you wish to access. The app lets you comment and like photos, follow or un-follow Instagram friends and edit your account information.
In my opinion, this program is the best Instagram client designed for Mac. Plus, it's free. So, it's definitely worth installing on your computer if you own an Instagram account and wish to easily access it from your Mac without using your default browser.
