GLCN MadCat is a software application that provides two integrated features: land cover mapping and change detection and validation. The land cover mapping feature allows users to generate vector-based land cover datasets using visual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic interpretation techniques. The change detection and validation feature enables users to detect changes in an existing vector layer or in statistically sound sample areas.
