Glance News is a commercial RSS news app for your Mac. It allows you to read news articles from seven popular websites on the Internet that let users subscribe to their content via RSS. The websites supported are Engadget, Gizmodo, Macworld, Lifehacker, TechCrunch, MacRumors and the Chinese version of Engadget. For each of those sites, you get the last 25 published articles which is quite a lot. You can delete the websites from your list if you want, but I was unable to add any RSS subscriptions to the application.
The graphical user interface is pretty nice. There are snapshots of each article, with its title on the snapshot. You can scroll down and left and right to see different subscriptions and articles. When you click on a piece of news, a short summary will pop-up in a new window. From this window, you can add the article to your favorites, open it with your default web browser, or use the built-in browser.
While working at it, I found the application very easy to use and it was convenient to read articles, as well. I like that it gives you a choice to open with your web browser. Unfortunately, I couldn't add my own RSS subscriptions. There were no buttons to do this, and the "Open" button on the menubar "File" menu was greyed out.
Unison gives you virtual meeting rooms where you can IM, post updates or documents, and talk live whenever needed.
