GitKraken is a Git client, a software solution for IT workers that makes it easy to open, create and clone repositories. Other options include the creation of branches, code sharing or pushing files from the personal computer.
Its interface looks modern and has lots of themes to choose from. The main menu has very well-delimited spaces which makes the navigation through the menu straightforward. The only aspect that can be improved is to add more color to button icons.
When it comes to its features, GitKraken is capable of hosting integrations and provides support to various sites, like GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps.
Also, it lets users integrate the app with Jira Cloud, Trello, GitLab and view issues, create branches, or edit cards, all done directly from GitKraken.
Furthermore, it has a built-in code editor where you can add files and folders and edit them. Once you've finished editing, you can save the files and commit your changes.
In conclusion, if you're a developer or you're working in the IT industry, you should definitely try GitKraken. It will make your job easier. There are times when it feels sluggish, while it also misses an option to find repositories faster. However, these are minor inconveniences.
