GIF Brewery 3 is a utility that enables you to easily create and share animated GIFs on your Mac computer. You can make GIFs from video clips combined with images, from screen captures and even webcam recordings.
The program gives you access to a wide variety of editing options to help you get the exact results you need.
You can import videos, images, and animated GIFs from your local directories as well as results from screen or webcam recordings. The utility then enables you to crop the resulting GIF, adjust contrast or brightness levels, apply visual effects, etc. Generating the GIFs won't take long and the output quality is excellent.
You also have access to an option to immediately share the resulting GIFs, directly from the program's interface.
However, a couple of things bother me about this tool: it occasionally runs slow (especially when launching the tool or importing files), it supports a small amount of video formats (for example, popular formats like SWF or MKV aren't supported), and the fact that it isn't compatible with RAW images or PSD files.
Still, this program comes without a price and provides you with quality output files. So, give it a try if the aforementioned flaws mean nothing to you.

- You may now select the area where the video will animate in .gifs! Choose the area with “GIF > Add .gif Mask...“ by clicking the area you wish to use, save it with "GIF > Save .gif Mask", and watch as the created .gif only animates in your selection!
