Cooperative online role-playing horror game

Ghost Watchers is an online cooperative single-player platform that requires users to explore various haunted locations. As the title suggests, the main goal is to capture real-time evidence of spirits. Note that players can trap these entities, just like in classic games such as Ghostbusters.

As this is also a co-op game, players can create strategies together as well as speak to one another via live streaming audio feeds. Such aspects provide Ghost Watchers with an additional sense of realism.

Dark and brooding environments

Each abandoned location is associated with its own set of areas to explore. These are also occupied by a unique ghost. Players will have to gather evidence that can be used to lure the creature out. Unsettling music and the occasional jump scare add to the suspense of what is in store.

Tools of the trade

It will normally be necessary to communicate with ghosts. This can be accomplished by using various tools, such as a radio, an OUIJA board, and a voodoo doll. There are more than 20 tools in total, including camera equipment and EMP recorders.

Eight ghosts to discover

Players will slowly uncover more information about each ghost. These include its age, background, and even its mood. There are also demons and otherworldly creatures that help liven up the overall gameplay.

Due to its co-op nature, Ghost Watchers can be compared to other games like Phasmophobia and Back 4 Blood. As the developer tends to add updates on a regular basis, such as new spirits and locations, it may also be considered a work in progress. In terms of a first-person horror RPG, Ghost Watchers represents an interesting choice.
