GetByMail is a remote control application for Windows computers. The application allows you to carry out several actions by only using your e-mail account. It is not nearly as efficient as using VNC or remote applications based on that technology, but it will get things done when VNC can't. These days, being behind a NAT/Firewall isn't that troublesome, many applications are smart enough to bypass them. But in some cases, GetByMail will be able to bypass a NAT and Firewall by basically doing nothing but sending and receiving e-mails. For example, when you install GetByMail on a remote computer (the one you want to control), you can simply send e-mails to it from any web e-mail account or POP e-mail account. You can upload and download files, move them, rename them, delete them, etc. You can also get screen captures of the remote computer at any time. Of course, you can get directory listings and even see a tree structure of your drives. All the files are sent in compressed archives and split in small parts so that your e-mail attachment limit does not become a problem. You won't be able to get real-time feeds from your computer, but you can carry out most critical tasks easily and safely with GetByMail.
