GEScene is a MapInfo tool that facilitates the exchange of images between MapInfo and Google Earth. It also allows users to create placemarks in Google Earth by using MapInfo as a reference point to locate obscure locations. Images saved in Google Earth can be registered and displayed in MapInfo to supplement existing map layers. Additionally, the contents of any MapInfo map window can be viewed in Google Earth as an image overlay. GEScene is beneficial for viewing data in the real world, as well as editing and locating.
