Genius Generator is a Mac program that helps you create icons in various sizes from your favorite pictures. This application might prove to be of good use to OS X and iOS developers who wish to easily and quickly generate icons for the programs they create.
All you need to do is drag and drop the input file over the app's interface, choose the preferred output format, and select the destination folder. As soon as you click the Export button, the program immediately saves the resized photo to the indicated folder.
The application can also be used for resizing photos to fit a certain style. For instance, it might come in handy when preparing pictures for a photo collage or slideshow presentation.
The thing I like the most about this program is the fact that it lets you import a picture and generate multiple icons of various sizes as the same time.
My only issue with icon generating utility is the fact that it doesn't offer you support for batch processing.
However, Genius Generator comes with an affordable price and lets you choose from various output profiles. So, I'd say it's worth buying it for your computer if you wish to easily generate OS X and iOS icons.
