One may think that when it comes to project management, there is no easy way of doing things; GanttProject though will prove most skeptics wrong. The application has an elegant and well designed layout to provide users a comfortable and effective setting for creating and managing project based tasks.
The program's layout is divided among tabs in order to offer a simple means of accessing its two main functions: managing Gantt and resources charts.
With just one click, users may create new tasks, complete a wide range of details: name, milestone, start / end dates, duration, priority and progress. Add predecessor tasks as well as human resources involved.
GanttProject is quite flexible as it supports the addition of custom column values, holiday intervals or editing public holidays altogether. In terms of visual settings, users can define their own colors for resources (overload, underload), days off as well as shape. You may also export your work in either the PNG, HTML or PDF file formats.
The utility stands out due to its clean, minimalistic interface, comprehensive set of features as well as the fact that it's completely free.
