G-Ear lets you connect to your existing Google Play (also known as Google Music) account and listen to your favorite music without confining yourself to a web browser. The app's interface aims to be simple and intuitive, just does what it has to. So don't hesitate, go on and try!

Google Music is a free service that lets you put your collection into the cloud and listen to your songs anytime, anywhere, without having to carry them on your device.

- Last.fm scrobbling
- Fully Retina compatible
- Song metadata is kept on disk for faster login times
- Added ability to create Instant Mixes (see bottom of playlist pane on the left)
- Buffering is improved so that song playback now starts faster
- Pressing back in shuffle mode plays goes back to the previously playing song (while the order is still random)
- Songs appear in the right order by default in playlists
- Holding forward or back button continusly seeks in song instead of skipping
- Apple Remote support (requires external preference pane, and please note that Apple Remote is a physical remote, not to be confused with the iOS app called 'Remote')
- Clicking on album art now jumps to playing song (like click on song title on top bar)
- Jumping to current song now also jumps to correct playlist
- Song is kept visible if user did not explicitly navigate away
- 'The Cure' is the same as 'Cure' when sorting
- Song without disc number is sorted like the first disc (useful if you have an album from multiple sources)
- Natural sorting ('song10' is after 'song2')
- You can scroll to song by typing
- Added option to be able to pause when screen is locked
