FrostWire is more than just a BitTorrent client for your Mac. This capable program is packed with a wide range of features that help you download data from cloud sources, preview or pre-listen fetched files directly from its interface, and so much more.
Its built-in search utility helps you immediately find the files you need to download. FrostWire connects with dozens of torrent search engines and cloud services and gives you access to free downloadable files within moments. You can fetch a single file from a torrent or download the complete package.
Once the download process is complete, you can preview or pre-listen the files directly from the program's interface. Unfortunately, this might slow down the performance of your system. Still, you can open the downloaded files in the iTunes application by clicking on the media player's icon from FrostWire's interface.
But the thing I like the most about this program is the fact that it organizes the downloaded data into a library, based on the file formats. You will have separate groups for music files, videos, etc. This library looks a lot like the one you have in iTunes, so it's pretty simple to handle.
To conclude, FrostWire is one of the best BitTorrent clients I used on my Mac. It's feature-rich, simple to handle, and free.
