FromScratch is an open-source utility created for Mac users who wish to take important notes in a program with a user-friendly interface. This program might come in handy if you have a busy schedule and need extra help in remembering the tasks you are to complete before the deadline.
The application comes with a simple yet nicely-designed interface where all you can do is enter your to-dos. You can also paste text content from other programs (such as default browser or text editor) and create to-do lists you need.
FromScratch also provides you with unlimited undo and redo options which are useful if you delete text content by accident.
Unlike many other task managers, this program doesn't give you access to advanced text style settings (you can write your text with only one font style and a default size) or any page arrangement options. Also, it doesn't feature an option to export your to-do lists to your local directories or the ability to share notes via email.
So, the application isn't feature-rich. But if you're looking for a simple to-do manager, FromScratch is worth a try. Plus, you have nothing to lose by installing it on your Mac computer as it's free of charge.
