Friendz is a nice client app for the Xbox Live messaging system. This system is used by Xbox 360 users to message each other. There are only a few applications that let you connect to this service and that work well, and with recent updates Friendz is one of the best ones I have seen. The application allows you to add your Xbox Live login details and connect to the service. After you are logged in, you can see which friends are online, and for all those that are offline, Friendz tells you when they were last seen and what they were playing. You can easily message anyone on your list, whether they are online or offline. In Xbox Live, there aren't any real-time chats, though, and this application can't see photos or play voice messages.
The main window shows your friend list, but if you go to the menu bar, you will find a couple of links to some interesting windows. The Games window shows all the games that you have played, along with all their achievements. It even shows the ones that you have completed. The messages window shows all the messages in your inbox, but there isn't an option to read sent messages.
All in all, this app seems to work great right now and it allows me to keep an eye on my Xbox Live friends when my console is off. It is a must for Xbox 360 users.
