FreshBackMac is a simple application that enhances your desktop appearance by changing wallpapers at the desired intervals. There is no difficulty in using this utility, even if it is your first time. Unluckily, the help documentation is quite limited, though.
The application runs very unobtrusively from the Menu Bar. It does not show any window. Instead, all choices are available from its menu, which also has some submenus. The tool can download the desired high-resolution images from popular online sources. In this respect, it supports Unsplash, Wikipedia, NASA, Pixabay and TMDB. However, it is not allowed to choose various simultaneous sources. In a similar way, FreshBackMac lets you select your favorite themes, including technology, nature, city, fashion, astronomy, paintings, animals, science, food, places, sports, music and travel. Finally, you can easily decide how often you want your desktop background to change.
In general, I do not think FreshBackMac is one of those apps you cannot live without. Still, it does make your desktop livelier. If you are interested, you will be glad to hear that it is free and includes automatic updates.
