It automatically backs up all changes made so that registry entries can be restored to their original state anytime. The program's interface is neat and clearly organized, users will easily know what to do.

An advantage of the program is that its registry scans can be customized: instead of allowing the program to make the default scan, users can choose what to scan or not. Other useful options that users will find are the restoring options. Since every change is saved automatically, users can restore the whole system to the point when Windows worked better, should any errors arise. In addition, after scanning, users can select what to clean or not plus they will find an option to go directly to Windows regedit and modify a registry entry instead of allowing the program to fix or remove it.

On the downside, Free Window Registry Repair doesn't allow selecting multiple items to be repaired or cleaned from the resulting list. It only allows to select either All or deselecting All, which turns out unpractical when there are hundreds of items listed and you wish to exclude several of them.
