Free Vimeo Downloader for Mac is a free video downloader. It should allow you to download videos from Vimeo.com, a nice website for original video sharing. There is a lot of interesting content there, and the videos are often of great quality and they stream very fast. This video downloader is identical to all the other video downloaders by iOrgsoft. It consists of a single window with two buttons. One is the "Paste URL" button, which you should click on when you have copied the URL of the video that you want to download. The other button allows you to enable or disable 1-click downloads. With those disabled, the app will ask you where you want to save your file and it will display some information about the video that you are downloading.
I was unable to get the app to download a single video. Every time I clicked on "Paste URL", I got an error message saying that I need to copy a Vimeo URL. I tried with several different videos, but to no avail.
Regardless of the fact that it isn't working right now, there is one thing about this app that I don't like: it uses an installation wizard. This requires more work from the user, and I generally consider these wizards a waste of time. A single executable app is the way to go, in my opinion. That is what makes Macs so great.
