Free Video Player is, as its name says, an application that allows you to watch movies for free. This program for Mac also lets you listen to your favorite tunes, add visual effects while playing videos, and save snapshots from movie frames for later use.
The app supports a wide variety of media formats, like AVI, MKV, MOV, MP3, M4A, and many other. You have access to a few video display configurations and audio settings which you can easily tweak according to your needs.
A disadvantage of this program is the fact that it doesn't allow you to create playlists containing videos or music files. Plus, you can't load subtitle files when watching movies.
Another thing I don't like is the fact that it occasionally displays annoying ads on the bottom of the screen.
Taking into consideration the aforementioned flaws, my belief is that it's not worth working with this program. Even though the app supports various media formats and lets you take snapshots of videos, I say you can find more capable and free video players.
