Free Image Convert and Resize is a nice, simple, and straightforward application that allows you to quickly and easily convert and resize multiple images at the same time. It’s a batch image processing utility, which is meant to save a lot of your precious time especially when dealing with large image collections.
Free Image Convert and Resize doesn’t only resize and convert photos, but it can also rename them, making photo collections easier to sort, organize and manage. The resizing can be performed to a preset size in pixels or in a percentage. Furthermore, the aspect ratio can be set to be maintained.
The only thing that disappoints me a little about this handy program is the fact that it supports only 6 output formats. Anyway, these are the most popular image formats (JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TGA), and the widely-used PDF document format. Unfortunately, this tool cannot convert to TIF or other formats, but that’s a rather small inconvenience, considering its many advantages and the fact that it’s also a completely free tool. As for the input, the same issue occurs: this program can only load JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF and TGA images.
To sum it all up, Free Image Convert and Resize is a really useful batch image converter that comes with cool benefits such as the fact that it’s free.
