The Forward Citation Generator is a tool that takes a target U.S. patent and retrieves the patent numbers of all subsequent U.S. patents that cite the target patent. These forward citations of the target patent are the 1st Generation forward citations and they indicate the importance of the invention. The Forward Citation Generator can then find the forward citations for each of the 1st Generation forward citations.
