Fort Defense is a strategy game that's suitable for users of all ages and provides you with a wide range of challenging levels. The objective is to protect your fort from pirate ship attacks by building defensive towers around the shore and destroying all of the incoming vessels.
You can create up to 5 player profiles, each with its own game settings and progress saving. The app lets you choose between 3 difficulty levels (Easy, Normal or Hard), play in fullscreen or windowed mode, and gives you access to a shop from where you can acquire various upgrades and power-ups.
The only way to complete a challenge only if your fort doesn't get destroyed by the enemy ships. You can protect your fort by placing defensive towers and eliminating the incoming waves of ships. Each time you destroy a pirate ship you gain a certain amount of coins. You can use the coins to buy or upgrade your towers.
The only thing I'd change about this game would be to add extra gameplay instructions. The app provides you with a limited amount of hints which aren't enough if you're new with this type of game.
However, Fort Defense is an exciting and addictive game that can keep you in front of your PC for hours. It brings you nice graphics, many challenges and rewards, and automatically saves your progress. Plus, it comes with an affordable price.
