FontDoctor was developed to help you diagnose, fix, and sort the fonts within your Mac. The program features a straightforward interface, comes with a comprehensive help manual, and immediately scans your computer for font problems.
This utility can scan your entire system or just a directory from your computer. Once the scanning process is complete, you can learn if there are any corrupted, duplicated or orphaned fonts on your Mac. You can save the scan reports for later if needed.
In my testing, no font problems were found. There's no way of knowing 100% if the program is indeed accurate or not as I never encountered any font issues on my computer. Still, according to many reviews, I found online from various users, the utility isn't as reliable as it used to be, especially when it comes to working with the sorting features.
In conclusion, I don't think it's worth buying a product that, by some chance, it might not offer you the accurate results you need. Furthermore, its price isn't reasonable. My guess is that you should look for a different solution to fix the font issues from your Mac.
