This utility is more than its name implies. Besides helping your restore lost data from your iPhone, it's also capable of recovering deleted files from iPads and iPods. The application brings you a user-friendly interface, works with multiple iOS device models, and helps you restore various types of files.
You can choose between 3 scan modes: from your iOS device (needs to be connected to your Windows PC), an iTunes backup file or an iCloud backup file. After you make your selection, the app will immediately start looking for lost or deleted files.
An important advantage is the fact that you can preview the found data before launching the recovery process. This feature is very useful as you can see exactly which files you're about to restore on your PC. Another great aspect is that you can select individual files for the recovery process. Many iOS recovery tools don't offer you this option; instead, they let you choose the file category and restore all of the files from that group of formats.
Only two things bother me. Firstly, it lacks the ability to save scan results for later. Also, you cannot restore any of the found files if you're using the trial version of the program. I'm guessing the app is capable of restoring the found files since it lets you preview them. You just need to make the purchase.
All in all, this application is one of the best iOS recovery tools I tested on my Windows PC. It's simple to handle, feature-rich, and effective.
