Folx GO is a download manager developed for Mac. Unlike the download manager that's built-in your default web browser, this program provides you with plenty of useful features that makes data download a quick and simple task.
The app's interface is very intuitive. On the upper side of the main window you will notice a bar where you can paste the download URL for the file you wish to fetch. You can also click over the "+" button to add an item to your downloads list. The utility lets you choose the preferred destination folder, rename or add a description to your download items, split files into multiple threads as you like, etc.
In my testing, I downloaded a 380MB video file. The application immediately fetched the file, without slowing down my Mac. Also, it automatically included the file in the Movie category.
However, the application comes with several limitations. For example, you cannot schedule download tasks or select the preferred limit for the download speed. The only way to get rid of these limitations is to upgrade the program to its Pro version. In my opinion, it's worth upgrading the app if you like the way Folx GO works.
