HD Version of the Addictive Time Management Game

Flight Control HD is a high-definition version of Flight Control, which originally gained popularity as a mobile app. It was developed by Firemint and is a simple time management game, where the player takes on the role of an air traffic controller at an increasingly busy airport. They must direct the various aircraft to their designated landing zone, without allowing them to collide. The game ends as soon as there is a collision.

Frantic Fun

The core mechanics are simple, with the player drawing paths in order to direct aircraft to the right runway. There are several runways for different kinds of aircraft and successful landings earn the player points. As points increase, the airport becomes more busy, meaning the game becomes progressively more frantic and challenging. Moreover, certain maps provide unique gameplay elements, such as planes that cannot be re-directed, or obstacles that need to be avoided.

Highly Addictive

Despite its simplicity, the game is extremely addictive and the inclusion of online leaderboards and multiple player profiles adds a competitive aspect. With that being said, there is no head-to-head gameplay, which may disappoint some, and it can be almost impossible to avoid some collisions that take place near the edge of the screen. Nonetheless, Flight Control HD is an excellent way to kill time and the various maps should provide enough variety to keep most players entertained.
