FlashSlider is a wonderful utility that allows you to create flash slideshows with your pictures to share with your family or upload to a website. The program features a nice and intuitive user interface that allows you to customize almost everything in it. You can select the movie size, rate and background color; choose the action at the end of the slideshow and select the buttons you want to include (Play & Pause, Rewind, Next & Previous); you can even select the background sound or music and mode; include a preloader and select the position; add links; add titles on frames selecting the position, font and effects. As for effects, the program includes an effects manager that shows you the complete library and possible modifications that you can make. Once you have selected the pictures, you can change the order, add more, delete, apply random effects instead of choosing one by one, change the interval between pictures, among other things. You can preview the slideshows as many times as you want and when you are sure about the result, you can save it or publish it in different formats: SWF file, html, or macromedia projector. All in all, FlashSlider is a good option for creating slideshow and deserves a try.
