FitFileExplorer is a simple open-source utility to open Fit files on your Mac. The goal of the utility is to show all the information in the Fit file rather than focusing on a subset of the information. For fields that contain many entries (record, laps, etc.), it will also display graphs of the data from the last column the user clicked on. If the data contains GPS coordinate, the track on a map will also be displayed. This is intended to be a tool to explore all the information available in a Fit file generically instead of a user-friendly way to show some summary information.
