Fishbowl is a great client for Facebook users that allows you to connect to Facebook directly from your desktop. You can allow Fishbowl to publish posts or comments and access your Wall and Feeds. It is required to be a Facebook member and authorize to connect to Facebook (It is better to select constant authorization, so you don't have to re-authorize it). In fact, the layout of Fishbowl window is very similar to Facebook’s. At the left, there are some Feeds from the start, but you can expand this list to show all the Feeds. You can switch among Home, Friends, Profile, Photos and Facebook at the top of the window. The last option mentioned shows the original Facebook layout inside Fishbowl window, and from there you can also open Facebook in your web browser. What is more, you have access to the settings; you can also see new messages, notifications, and who is online. Other useful features are the content’s zoom in/out, and the mini window mode. What's important to note is that Fishbowl is not a completely developed application, so you may experience some problems with it. In my tests Fishbowl suddenly crashed; but nothing serious - I just had to run the application again.
