Finely Tuned is a Menu Bar program designed for Mac users to help them control the music being played within iTunes, Spotify, Rdio, or Deezer. The application provides you with a mini-controller, lets you preview song lyrics, and offers you details regarding your tracks.
If none of the aforementioned players is launched, Finely Tuned provides you with an option within its main menu to open them. Afterwards, you can start listening to your favorite tunes or radio stations and check their correspondent details within Finely Tuned menu.
The program also reveals the lyrics of the songs you're listening with iTunes. If the tracks lack these details, you can use Finely Tuned option to search them with your browser.
My only concern regarding this Mac application is the fact that on the download page it says that the program is free. However, you need to make in-app purchases in order to have access to all of its features (ability to define global hotkeys, support from the development team, etc.).
Briefly, I was pleased with the way the application worked. Finely Tuned immediately revealed accurate song info, let me control the music being played within iTunes, and used minimum CPU resources while running on my Menu Bar. So, I'd say at least it's worth a try.
