File Info Professional is a Mac application designed to provide you with detailed information regarding the documents within your computer. This program comes as a simple yet efficient alternative to accessing file details with Finder's Get Info option.
The utility brings you a user-friendly interface, supports drag-and-drop action, and immediately offers you the file information you require. All you need to do is select or drag and drop the document you wish to analyze and the program will reveal the file's details.
File Info Professional gives you access to three types of details: General (size, creation date, modification date, owner, and group), Checksums (used to ensure the integrity of a document after it has been transferred from one storage device to another), and HEX Dump (raw file content). Any of the offered info can be copied to clipboard and used within third-party apps.
In my testing, the application worked flawlessly as I didn't encounter any errors. Plus, the program used a very small percentage of my CPU resources while analyzing the input file.
With that being said, this utility proves to be a reliable solution when it comes to accessing details about your documents. Plus, you don't have to pay a buck to use it on your Mac.
