Faraway Planet 3D Screensaver is a nice screensaver that shows different views of an alien planet in 3D at different times of the day. It shows different aspects of the planet like its vegetation, waters, moons, stars, etc. with vibrant colors, nice sounds, and a very relaxing music. You will see the planet as if you were flying over it, contemplating every aspect of it.
What is more, the screensaver is very customizable and allows you to adjust the video mode and graphics quality to match your computer resources. You can also disable the sounds and music, select the volume, and even play your own music by selecting a list of tracks. Unfortunately, it only offers only two exit options: on mouse click (default) or mouse move, and it doesn't allow you to select the transition time between one animation and the other, which would definitely be great.
All in all, Faraway Planet 3D Screensaver is an original and very relaxing screensaver that will surely attract many users, and it definitely deserves a try.
