F-22 Lightning 3 was my favorite flight simulator when I was a kid. The game is old now, but back then it was a piece of innovation. For the first time ever were nuclear bombs available for you to use in a video game. That was what sold the game back then. Fear, I would say. The game features one of the most advanced aircraft ever created, the F-22. The plane has stealth capabilities, which means that it can't be detected on radar. Thus, it was extremely easy to sneak on other planes and targets on the game. The graphics could look polygonal now. But back then they were so realistic. The game had an advantage, too. Unlike other flight simulators, it was targeted for the novice users, those who didn't know how to fly a real plane, nor wanted to learn. The controls were really easy. There were plenty of different weapon combinations for the user to employ. The missions were not hard, but took a couple of tries to complete. All in all, the game was fun to complete. The most fun for me came from playing regular missions and just flying around and maybe engaging in some dogfights and blowing a city to ashes with a nuke. Guess I am a sociopath or something, but I am taking it that many people bought the game because of that, since even the website of the developer uses the nuclear bomb as its main advertisement.
