This Mac utility is, as its name clearly states, a program that helps you export the information stored within Contacts app (Mac default address book app). The tool brings an intuitive interface, lets you choose from a wide variety of output templates, and allows you to select which type of info to export (name, mobile number, etc.).
After you select the preferred template, the program allows you to choose which contacts or groups you need to export to your local drive. You can drag-and-drop the contact profiles from the People Picker window onto the left side of the main screen.
I like the fact that you can pick the contact details you wish to export. For instance, the output files can contain only the name, address, and phone number information divided by a blank space or bar (depending on the output profile you select).
Another good thing about this Mac program is that it allows you to save output profiles to your local folders in case you need them later.
All in all, Export Address Book is a simple yet very useful application. The program communicates well with Mac's Contacts app, immediately offers you the results you require, and comes with a fair price.
