EximiousSoft GIF Creator is intended to create animated GIFs, which are very useful to capture user’s attention and, at the same time, are lighter than using a video format. The application has a straightforward interface and anyone with basic animation editing skills can create their own GIFs without much effort. In this regard, its tabs take you in a wizard-style through all the necessary steps.

The first tab lets you add pictures to series of frames. Likewise, it allows importing directly from an AVI video file. Then, you can add more frames, duplicate one and rearrange them. Besides, it lets you add basic shapes, symbols and text as well as simple image editing tools, which let you select, resize and rotate the objects. The second tab, in turn, helps you apply multiple effects, including Fade, Turn Page, Rotate, Slide Roll and many others. The next tab optimizes the animation to make it lighter. And finally, you can move on the fourth tab to preview the results. Luckily, you can preview animations as GIF or Flash (SWF) using the tool’s built-in viewer or an external browser. It’s also possible to export the resulting animation as GIF or SWF. Besides, the constituent frames can be saved as sequences of static images in most popular formats.

In a nutshell, EximiousSoft GIF Creator can really help you create GIF animations. Its main advantages are its usability and support of multiple file formats. I was able to use it without any problem except when I tried to import an AVI file. However, it’s a program I recommend for GIF editing.
