EvJO Photo-Image Resizer is a very complete graphics editing tool. It can reduce the resolution of your images and further compress them. Both of these actions can reduce the size of your image if you decrease resolution or add compression. Experimenting with the resolution of an image doesn't have such a great effect on file size, but it is nice to have both options available.
EvJO Photo-Image Resizer can process one file at a time or work in batch mode. Both modes are very intuitive. There are three steps for each mode, and they are clearly marked on the screen with a number. In step two, you can decrease or increase the resolution of an image. It is in step three that you actually add compression. To add photos to the program, you can use the "Open Picture" button or simply drag and drop them to the interface. The batch mode has some interesting features. The one that caught my eye is the feature that allows you to rename your pictures after processing in a batch mode. There, you set a destination folder for your images and you can change the name of the files. You can also add "#" to automatically enumerate the files.
All in all, this application is very complete, and it has both approaches used for resizing pictures and reducing file size, which is the use that I would most likely give it. It works well and it couldn't be any easier to use.
