ESL Wire is a program created exclusively for the ESL community. ESL stands for Electronic Sports League, and it is an international online community designed to organize leagues, tournaments and matches for many electronic sports (competition video games). ESL is one of the largest online leagues, with so many active games, nations and leagues inside the community that it can be hard to find the information you actually need. That is why ESL decided to release ESL Wire, their own in-house application designed to help ESL users.
The program allows you to use your ESL account to log in, and from there to search, find and chat with friends inside ESL. There is also a nice tab to find game lobbies in case you want to play a quick game. The nice thing about this is that the application can launch your games for you (if you have them configured). In order to keep records (and also for fairness’ sake), ESL requires gamers to upload pictures of their matches. With ESL wire, this is done automatically, and will double-check the data you upload using its anti-cheat application.
One of the coolest things about this application is that it contains a Virtual LAN, allowing you to play games (even older games) through the Internet, just as if you were playing in a LAN. No question about it - Wire is a must-have for all ESL users, and one good reason why you should play your games in ESL.
