Encryptr is an open-source program designed for Mac users to help them protect their private info, like email account credentials, credit card details, etc. The application comes with a straightforward interface, so even people with little computer experience can easily handle this utility.
Usually, when working with this type of programs, it's imperative to provide a valid email account for registration. Encryptr doesn't support such a thing. It only needs a user name and a password, and you can start adding personal info to the app's records.
Another good aspect is that you can copy info stored within Encryptr with just one click. To be more exact, if you wish to save to clipboard an email account address or credit card number, you simply click and hold two seconds over the item you need to copy.
In my opinion, this program still lacks several important features. For example, it doesn't bring you an auto-lock option (automatically locking the app when you're away from your Mac) or an integrated password generator (comes in handy when creating new accounts).
To conclude, I'd say it's worth trying this app on your Mac mostly because it's free of charge and you don't have anything to lose by installing it. However, you can find plenty of other programs to store your personal info, and those other programs come with more features.
