QuickTime can't play it unless you download additional components, and some of the great video players for the Mac have problems with it. There is a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and adjust their brightness, contrast and saturation. There is a drop-down menu that seems to indicate that the application allows you to hard-code subtitle files, but this feature didn't work for me.
In my testing, I loaded a WMV file that I had trouble playing on my Mac and converted it to H.264, a great format for the Mac. The process was quick and smooth. The resulting file played great on iTunes, and I could add it to my iPhone without any problems as well.
By the looks of it, this application hasn't been updated for over 2 years, which isn't a reassuring fact. No new updates seem to have been added in a long time.
