eID Connector is a Safari extension that allows for connectivity with the eID card within Safari. You can enable the eID Safari extension within the Safari settings screen. Next, you can retry the eID operation. When the eID card is not present in the smart card reader, eID Safari will ask you a question to enter the eID card within the card reader. In case of an eID authentication, or the creation of an eID signature, a dialog will show up to query for your PIN code.
