Egypt is considered to be the cradle of Western civilization and always has fascinated people from all over the world. Now you can take a virtual tour to the ruins and monuments of Egypt with this beautiful screensaver. It features superb 3D renderings of the most great places of the Egyptian civilization. You can go to the Pharaos' tombs inside the pyramids and travel along the Nile, the Sacred River, and meet its famous giant crocodiles. Also, you will visit the temples at Luxor and Abu Simbel, as well as the enigmatic Sphinx of Gizeh. All the trips are accompanied by a nice and relaxing musical background. You can adjust many of the screensaver's settings, like turning on/off the music, and showing or hiding the frames-per-second index. Also, you can choose to show or hide the clock, and if you decide to show it, you can choose between a 24- or a 12-hours format.
The screensaver takes a while to load and uses a good amount of memory. Also, the trial version displays a "nag screen" after sixty seconds of use. If you want to get rid of it, you will need to purchase the full version of the program.
