EDU Words 1.1

EDU Words is an educational game developed for kids where their objective is to enter the correct spelling of terms from various categories, like fruits, vegetables, colors, numbers. This app will help children improve their vocabulary while having fun.

You can choose between multiple categories (Objects, Fruits, Vegetables, Animals, etc.), play in fullscreen or windowed mode, and disable background music if necessary. The game also gives you direct access to the Mac App Store pages of other programs developed by iTeamDeveloper, applications that are suitable for children as well as adults.

In my testing, I completed challenges from all given categories. The app informs you whether your response was correct or not, provides you with bonuses if you answer multiple questions accurately, and uses a very small amount of CPU resources while you're playing.

The one thing that bothers me is the fact that the application doesn't save your game progress.

As for the rest, I think this app really provides a fun way for kids to practice their typing and vocabulary skills. In addition, the game comes without a price tag.
