Easy Extract Icon
With this program you will be able to easily extract icons from any file. This computer utility easily pulls out icons from executable (.exe, .dll files) as well as its associated files.
You may save the icons in the current directory where a file is located or in a special directory defined by you. Just choose the File|Open command and press the Extract button (or use the matching File|Extract command). When extracting, the program will display the currently extracting icon, the name of the icon, and it will also make a short report.
Generally *.exe files have one icon, but *.dll files may be a storage place for lots of icons. If you are extracting icons from a non-executable file, and it has just one icon, the program will create the file name0.ext. If an exe or dll file has more than one icon, the program can extract all icons stored in the file.
The program is available in the following languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German.
It comes with Installer/Unistaller for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP.
