Duden Dictionaries isn't an application to translate words between languages. Instead, it provides you with detailed descriptions for various German words along with audio pronunciations, a list of irregular verbs, etc. The program comes in handy to people who already know German and wish to easily find word descriptions.
This utility comes with a user-friendly interface, features an integrated search tool, and allows you to mark your favorite word descriptions. You can also print word explanations directly from the app's interface.
An important feature is the built-in search utility which helps you immediately find explanations for terms, entire phrases, similar words, etc.
Unfortunately, not all content is available for free. The application gives you access to a small part of its content. You need to make in-app purchases to unlock all dictionaries.
Personally, I'd use my default web browser to find German word descriptions. Many websites provide you with detailed information, including audio pronunciations.
Hence, I don't think it's worth installing this application on your Mac as you can find cheaper solutions.
